We´re definitely not as badly off as many parts of Europe are at the moment, where the unexpectedly bad weather is ruining people´s homes and lives, but today was a particularly wet day in the Northern Rivers, that led to a veritable waterfall coming down the steps towards the house, a ´lake´in front of Anjes´room, a rivulet coming down the path to the front door, water on the road, an almost overflowing pool and a trio of very wet horses. It´s lush in many ways because the fauna in the valley comes up tropically verdant, which is one of the reasons that I love this area so much.
