I just spoke to the vet looking after Miss Elliot. There is some good news. We´re not out of the woods yet but she´s in there with a fighting chance. She was actually able to use her tongue this morning to groom herself! And she is eating dry food independently, which is a good sign. She´s still on a drip for fluids, but if she shows she can eat wet food and lap up water in the course of today, the catheter might go. So, all paws crossed for Ms Elliot and hope she gets through this difficult period.
