It has taken a while but then it finally happened - the bonfire was on! For a small group of close friends, last Saturday we made the pile go ablaze. And ablaze it went on a quiet, initially chilly Saturday night. It reached higher than we could have imagined and pleased we were there wasn´t a whiff of wind - had there been, I think the surrounding trees might have been endangered. What power! Tess and Yarrow danced and posed in front of it, creating some wonderful photographs.
