We'd like to wish all our friend, relatives and loved ones a happy New Year! We spent New Year's Eve in Byron Bay, with our friends-family Oceane and Sarah, and Yarrow. Thousands of teens had gathered in the town - it felt like schoolies week! All generations in our little group (spanning age 14 to 50) felt almost embarrased to be among these kids whose only interest seemed to be either to be drunk, or to pretend to be drunk and, in both scenarios, to swagger around the town. The fireworks were nice, although my love was not impressed and wants to go to Sydney for New Year's Eve 2013...
