Weekend

Tess was allowed out of hospital this weekend, and sleep over, so she spent Saturday at the Grange where she spent most of the day not expending energy, having lunch with Yarrow and spending time with the folks, and Sunday she came to the Myth - I took her to the Eltham pantry with Yarrow, and invited Ongel and Grandpa to join us there, and then we had a scrumptious Sunday lunch prepared by Niki. Niki in the meantime had picked up one of Anjes' friends, Sandra, from Byron Bay. Sandra will be staying with us for a few days. In the afternoon we all went down to a Creek near Federal where we paddled in the water and lounged in the sun, until it was time for Tess to be taken back to the hospital. This morning Tess told us proudly that she had gained weight (i.e. since the tube had been taken out last week), which was excellent news to start off the week. So now it's another sunny, hot spring day.

We worked in Byron Bay today while Sandra walked around Byron. After lunch at the Balcony we drove up to the Lighthouse, watched the absence of Wales (seeing as the Whale passing season has already passed), as well as the lack of dolphins and turtles ... well, at least the water was of the most beautiful emerald colour.
