Not much to report. Niki worked at the university today, and I worked on Realtime. Niki´s friend, Jane, took herself into Lisbon after sitting in on Niki´s classes. She´s looking to see whether a teaching career might be something for her. As I write, skies are blue but it´s quite cold outside. Portugal is without a Prime Minister and the political mood is grim. Tomorrow we´re off to Sarzedo for a few days, trying to get the electricity connected, taking A Few Boxes There, and looking around for materials and writing China Grammar units... In other words, all is calm and well. The photo, by the way, if of a church in Povao de St Adriaõ (the part of Lisbon where we live when we´re here), which was where we´ve dropped off No Longer Needed Clothes the other day. A remnant of what once must have been a very nice village...
