We thought it might be a good idea to spend the first day of the new year doing, well, nothing. It was also bucketing it down, s a visit to the beach wasn´t on, really. We ended up taking our friend Kat, who was staying with us for a few days, to Gold Coast airport, and stopping along the way in Brunswick Heads to have lunch with Tess, Yarrow, Byrony, Mieke and John at what locals know as The Brunsa.
