In the meantime, at the farm...

On return to Australia, I found that Red (the builder), Johnno (the painter) and Duncan (the gardener) had worked wonders on the property, a few photos of which can serve as testimony to their skills. (Click on the photos to enlarge if you want to).

There were....
... a room which had changed from somberly dark to pleasantly and naturally light, thanks to two skylights;
... stairs that appeared from nowhere, going from one deck to the other, shortcutting the walk from downstairs to upstairs;
... a freshly painted bathroom
.... a freshly pained back deck
... beautifully painted new stairs
... a Princess Window
... a pruned ochard
... fed chickens (thanks to K2)

And probaby many other things I haven't noticed yet ...
