And finally, finally, finally we managed to go out with the horses for a decent ride. We loaded them up, drove to Mieke and John's in Clunes, parked on their driveway, unloaded the equines, saddled up and went for a short, but sweet, steep and exhilirating ride over their neighbour's 60-acre property: up and down hills, jumping over a creek, slip-sliding in mud - it was lovely! Afterwards a nice beer on the deck, loading the horses up again and trundling back home. Now we are definitely set for more adventure(s)!
