Ever heard of, or eaten Damper? Eaten snags? Made tea in a Billy? Well, this weekend we did, as my love and I, Tess, Yarrow, Mieke, John and our friends Trevor, Kel. Tom, Jamie and Robin took ourselves off to Alice flats, along the Clarence river to enjoy a holiday long weekend of, well, not doing much really, other than chat, lounge, sit, make campfires, swim, walk, make damper etc etc. A great opportunity to be without phones, computers, office desks, manuscripts. Lovely.
